Day 27: The Beach and Camping

We went to the beach in the rain and we had a BLAST! Isaac absolutely loved being in the water. There are a ton of pictures, so I'm not captioning most of them. You can figure out what's happening ;) 

 First time eating sand! Mmmm

 Isaac and Daddy went for a walk on the pier.

 Jared loved playing in the sand mud. 

 The boys like to play a game together where one pretends to be stuck and yells "Help me!" The other pulls him out and they usually end up toppling over each other. Jared is playing "Help me" with me- silly.

 Time for lunch on the beach!

 Pickle! This kid loves to chew on a pickle spear. I guess it feels good on his gums. (I did enjoy ice cream and pickles when I was pregnant with him ;)

 Oh boy... I can't believe this was the same day! We brought out the camping tent after nap time. 

 Isaac was all about helping Daddy!

 When it got dark we went out and let the boys play with flashlights.

They finally got to sleep sometime before 10. It steadily got quieter and quieter from their side of the tent. Grayson slept on a twin bed with me and Larry slept in a sleeping bag. The boys slept in their own compartment together with blankets and a sleeping bag. We all made it through the night! I got SO cold, though- it dropped into the 60's, go figure! And I woke up first, but I got to read in peace and that was really nice! Overall this was a blast and we will definitely go camping again!
