Well today made up for yesterday, that's for sure!
Grayson was not ready to get up!
(And as you can see, neither was Daddy)
Heading out of Atlanta on time! I was very surprised at this accomplishment.
Grayson already having fun in the car seat- he thought it was hilarious to pull his shade all the way down.
The beautiful views once we got close to Alma. God's creation is so beautiful!
We made it Alma, GA! Larry's cousin lives here with her 3 children and she's expecting her 4th now. Her oldest 2 girls, Grace and Abigail, just adored Grayson!
Notice all the kids drinking...and then there's Gracie, saying her prayers. Whoops!
Isaac said the blessing and Jared squeezed his eyes extra tight to let God know he takes his prayers seriously ;)
After lunch it was time to check out the hogs!
And next was the chickens!
Checking for eggs :)
Trying to catch an escaped chicken.
Jared kept saying "Hey chicken, hey."
The girls pushed me on the hammock. It was wonderful and once again I have to ask, "Why don't I have girls????"
We really had a great time in Alma. The boys had a blast and definitely learned a few new things! It was a great lunch stop and I was so glad we got to see them all!
Next up, Baxley!
Grayson and his Great Grandaddy
Getting kisses from Biscuit. This puppy was hilarious! He would climb right over Grayson and Grayson would just look around like, "What's happening? What was that?" but he never cried or anything. Very sweet!
I love that dogs love Larry. It makes me laugh.
Larry is weird and crazy and wanted to wash his car at this random time. So off we went. We tried to get the kids to help, but they were freaked out, so this is the only picture Larry got. Jared literally stood outside the car door screaming. Just. Screaming. It was awful and traumatizing, though no one is sure why. Regardless, our van was clean.
And we went back to Granddaddy and Memas where Grayson could catch up on some light summer reading. (I don't know that they will ever get their end table organized again. Grayson wanted to play with everything on it!)
Mema lovin'! He kept moving so I couldn't get a super great shot.
Time for a little story.
On the drive to Lumber City Larry wanted to stop at a car lot. I was so scared we would end up buying a new vehicle. It wouldn't surprise me. Thankfully, he was just peeking.
Meanwhile, Isaac stayed with me. (I was exhausted! The idea of walking around a car lot was not appealing!) He was ready to drive!
And we made it to Lumber City!
