Day 22: Going Exploring with "Finding Glasses"

My mom bought the boys some magnifying glasses for their trip. (We leave tomorrow!) Even though today has been a very busy day with packing and cleaning as we get ready to go, I wanted to make sure we got outside to explore. I think this is what I love most about doing a "new adventure every day of summer"- it makes me stop whatever I'm doing to make sure that we do something fun with the boys, no matter how simple. So! To the front yard!


Oh wait, but first! This picture... Grayson asleep on my side of the bed. Apparently, someone was happy that I got up and quickly took over my space. 

 And now to the front yard! ;)

 We actually found lots of little bugs. I didn't realize how many creepy crawlers there are out there in my yard! (Well, the neighbor's yard... we walked across the road because that made it seem more like a real adventure.)

It was a short adventure because we didn't need the Finding Glasses to see the mosquitos- they were everywhere :( But at least we got out and we got some laughs. The boys love their magnifying glasses!
