17 months WOW

It's hard to believe Isaac is almost a year and a half old. When I look at Jared I cannot imagine him at Isaac's age and it's getting hard to remember that Isaac was ever a little baby like Jared.

Some new developments...

He can now understand a LOT! We can give him an instruction, like close the door or go upstairs, and he will do it. He is a very good listener. If we tell him to put something down, or to not touch, he will do what we say. Of course, the tantrums have also gotten stronger. Most of the time he is very good, but sometimes he gets very mad when he doesn't get his way. If he bites or hits us, he goes into the pack n play for 1 minute. It's working well and he always gives us a hug and is calmed down after.

Something very exciting is that he will hold our hand now. Larry has been dropping us off and then parking at church. I've been able to carry Jared's car seat and hold Isaac's hand all the way to his class! He leads the way and loves his class. It's been so nice to drop him off and watch him happily start playing.

He is also babbling constantly! He has lots to say. It will be so nice when we can actually understand him!

He still loves having a baby brother. Every morning he looks for Jared first and smiles when he sees him. It's so sweet!

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks:

Reading a story with Aunt Ameigh
Enjoying his first lollipop

Playing cars with Cole
Listening to Grandma read a story with Royce
Playing with his train, one of his favorite toys
Going upstairs with Royce to the playroom
Sitting on the stairs waiting for Royce :)
