Beach!

We went to the beach the day after Isaac's birthday. (At least, that's what the date on the pictures tells me, but it could be wrong since I don't remember anymore.) He liked it a lot better this year. It was Jared's first trip and he pretty much acted the way Isaac did on his first trip: he ate the sand, hated the water, and pretty much looked confused the whole time :)

I can just see the wheels spinning in his head as he thinks, "What IS this place? I'm very confused."

Mmm sand! He was even more persistent than Isaac was. We would push one hand down, but he already had the other one full of sand and would jam it in his mouth so fast you couldn't stop him!

Crazy kid.

Not loving the water :( Isaac didn't like the water, either. As soon as it touched his toes he ran away and kept saying, "Nooo."

Relaxing with Grandma :)

Sitting on the chair to relax was not an option!

Except to eat a snack :)

Daddy multitasking :) You can't really tell from this picture, but both boys wanted sips of water from his water bottle.

Grandaddy dug a hole and Isaac kept sliding into it while saying, "Wheee!"
