Isaac Update

Isaac is amazing, as always. Every day he does something adorable that makes us say, "How are you our son?"

Here are some words that he's started saying.

side= outside

shoes

ta ta= toothbrush (he LOVES to play with his toothbrush)

ba ba= banana

bye bye

c-kie= cookie

key

The other day I was putting dishes away and put away his purple plate. I asked him if he could say purple plate. He tried so hard! He says, "puh puh" and smiles like he is so proud of himself, plus he thinks it's hilarious when you say it.

It's just incredible to us now all he can do. He likes to put the tennis balls in the container, then take them out again, he likes to drive his toy cars around, he's started throwing balls, and he loves to play with the broom. Sometimes I'll show him my belly button and tell him his little brother is in there. He smiles and tries to pull my belly button out, which is quite painful, but he knows where my belly button is! He will also put his arms through his shirt by himself if you put the shirt over his head. How is he growing up so quickly??

There are 2 more big developments...

this past month he started crawling down the stairs, which is very exciting! Now he can go up and down by himself.

and he got 4 more teeth! Two molars on top and two on the bottom.

He is in the transition of going from 2 naps down to 1 nap a day, which is sad for us. We enjoyed the naps more than he did!

I think that's it, for a general update. Hopefully September won't be as crazy as August and I will be better about posting more often!
