March Madness

We knew that March would be a crazy month, but we had no idea just how busy we'd be. Here are some updates from the month:

Pregnancy News:

My dad went with me to my 23 week check up. He was able to hear the heartbeat and actually see my stomach move as our little one moved all around. My doctor started measuring my uterus and at 23 weeks, I was measuring 24 weeks along. That was exciting since it means he's growing :)

Overall, the pregnancy is going very well. I'm getting bigger and the kicks are getting stronger... and more painful. Some of my family and friends have been able to feel him. It's great to be able to share that joy with others. Larry was actually able to hear his heartbeat when he rested his head on my stomach. Our boy really likes his Daddy. Everything will be calm, and then when Larry starts talking, he starts moving all around. I can't wait for Larry and him to meet!

House News:

We close tomorrow! It's unbelievable. Friends at work were asking today if I was excited, and honestly, I'm just shocked. I kept waiting for a phone call where my lender or somebody would say,  "Oh, you're that Summerlin family... no, sorry, we can't sell you a house!" Instead I got a call today that everything is approved and ready for tomorrow. Moving day is May 24, so hopefully that nesting instinct will kick in some time in April!

Other exciting news:

We got a Queen bed!!! The full bed we had just wasn't working for Larry and I. When Baby started making an appearance, it got really tight! Thankfully, Michael and Karri were getting rid of their Queen and offered it to us. What heaven! I was able to buy one of those huge pregnancy pillows to help me sleep at night and we can still all fit comfortably. Well... at least I know I'm comfortable!

Easter

Larry and I at a friend's wedding in June of 2007 and again at Easter 2008. 

April looks like it's going to be much calmer, so hopefully I can start posting weekly again!
