19 weeks

It's hard to believe, but we're almost halfway there at 19 weeks. This Friday is the big day-- we'll get to see the baby on ultrasound and (hopefully) find out the sex. We can't wait! Our little one is getting stronger every day and likes to show off his/her growing muscles with punches and kicks. Larry was able to feel it over the weekend during a particularly harsh beating of my stomach. :)

On Super Bowl Sunday Larry and I went to a friend's house (after taking the week 18 picture). We had a great time eating Wild Wings and watching the Giants win the Super Bowl! Of course, we were the only 2 people there rooting for the Giants, which made for a quiet cheering section. That didn't stop Larry from jumping around and cheering when the game ended!

I also started getting back a lot of my energy this past week. On Wednesday I had my first burst of "nesting" and could not sit down. I ended up cooking meatloaf and green beans with biscuits. I made Larry take a picture of this momentous occasion! (And yes, I was wearing a tank top in February. I was so warm in the apartment-- yet another pregnancy symptom.)

Check back on Friday the 15th to find out the sex of the baby. Any opinions out there? I still hold my belief that there is a little girl brewing, but the only other agreement I can get is from the Chinese Calendar. Everyone else says we're having a little boy. Keep your prayers coming that no matter what, the baby's healthy!
