July 8
Grayson had followed me into the bathroom and kept trying to play with the toilet paper. You know he's the third because my thought was "Screw it. It's toilet paper. It won't kill him and it's cheap." So I took it off the roll and let him have some fun. I figured it would amuse him for hours, but about 2 minutes later he had moved on. I guess it didn't take much to get out of his system!
I love this face. I can see him thinking, "OMG! This. Is. Awesome."
Inspecting...
Wow, it comes apart...
Mmm, tastes good too!
Meanwhile, I got the boys set up to make rockets today. Jared takes his painting very seriously.
Isaac only wanted to paint one section and then say "I'm all done!" He's that way with coloring too- one crayon, one quick scribble and he's over it. Jared, on the other hand, will fill an entire coloring book with his scribbles.
Sprinkling on glitter. (Side note: Glitter is evil. I'm writing this a couple of weeks after the fact and I am STILL finding glitter from this activity. Evil.)
Jared's turn!
Isaac showing Daddy his rocket and being silly for the camera.
I didn't get a picture of Jared's rocket because he didn't want it after I put the top on. Which was a fiasco. I should have been more prepared. We were out of tape so I tried stapling the top and ended up stapling my finger, which hurt. A lot. Then I had to cut the strips of paper for the "flame" and staple those on. Jared didn't like it anymore. He just wanted to paint it and glitterize it. Isaac liked his for a bit, but was over it a lot quicker than I had anticipated as well. My boys just aren't into crafts. But I won't give up!
Mandatory sleeping picture of Grayson. On my arm. This kid is a stinker.
