Day 20: Community Bible School

June 19
Larry was able to go with me to the Community Bible School tonight.
Isaac loves to climb...
And Jared loves to swing!
Being a nice big brother

Listening to the rules of a game...
but too young to actually understand the rules :)
Love these boys!
Poor Jared got really really hot. We realized later, once he was home and happy, that he didn't actually have a fever. We think he may have been dehydrated for some reason because he normally sweats a grotesque amount (seriously- I'm not looking forward to his teenage years) and his head and hair were dry. Poor guy.
Water break
Kickball! If you've never watched kids play kick ball (who have never played before) I strongly recommend it! It was hilarious!
Isaac kicked!
He ran to 1st, but stopped along the way to catch the ball he had kicked! He gave it back to the first basegirl.
Larry explaining the strategy... now you run to 2nd!
Thankfully, he got some help along the way to stay on the path :)
Whew! He made it! (no one was actually ever out in this game of kick ball)
Running home!
The best part was when he got to home plate he said "I don't want to go home!" We had to explain that he made it to home plate :)
Time for songs!
And time to go home early :( Larry took Jared to the van. Jared kept asking for Isaac. Isaac gave him a hug when we made it to the van.
Stripped down and feeling happier already!
This had nothing to do with Community Bible School, but it was taken that same day and I just love it :)
I just want to pause for a minute and say how much I love the relationship between Isaac and Jared. Yes, they drive me crazy with the "You stop! No, you stop! No, YOU stop!" fights, but when it comes down to it, they are the best of friends. Isaac pushing Jared on the swing, then Jared asking for Isaac when he was sick and Isaac hugging him... it's all a bit too much sometimes and I feel so overwhelmed and thankful for these brothers. I'm curious to see how the relationships change, evolve, and grow over the next few years as Grayson joins the mix :)
