June 13
I'm taking part in a 2 day conference for Cobb County teachers at a local high school. It's actually been really great and I've enjoyed the speakers. We have a long lunch break, so the boys came to have lunch with me.
Jared decided he didn't like sidewalks.
Isaac figuring this place out.
We had to explain to the boys what the long chain means. Jared clearly didn't care.
And again... I really don't know what his deal was against the sidewalks that day!
They found this (we still aren't sure what it is... if you know, tell us!) and the boys thought it was SO cool.
As we walked through a building to explore the boys were fascinated by the lockers.
They were so silly! Larry had to make sure Jared didn't accidentally lock himself in. He wanted to close that door SO badly!
That night the boys found the Batman pajamas they had taken from my parents' house. They wanted to wear them, but like the book "If you Give a Mouse a Cookie" it only led to much, much more! As soon as the pajamas were on Isaac decided "I'm going to Grandma and Papa's house to take care of Butter!" We called my dad and he was home, so we went on over there for another adventure :)
Oh poor Butter
My parents had gone to Disney last week, so they brought the boys back eye patches and swords. They LOVED them.
Jared kept his eye patch in between his eyes. It was so cute :)
It was a really great day. It was so fun to just get in the van and go to my parents' house and the boys loved their presents!
