Coloring, Swinging, and (of course) Napping

11/15/09
Lately Isaac always wants to grab pens and pencils when he sees them lying around. We decided it was time for his first coloring book! Larry picked out a giant Star Wars coloring book and we bought him those thick Crayola crayons. Maybe it's the teacher in me, maybe it's the kid in me, but it was a special moment for me to buy my son his first box of crayons. (Of course, most of the tips have already been broken off, and we've had to brush blue crayon teeth once or twice as well!)
Isaac has as much fun taking the crayons out of the box and putting them back as he does actually coloring. He's at that age now where he likes to take things out and put things back. We're trying to ease that into cleaning up, but so far he leaves everything out when he's done.
Here is Jared at 10 days old chilling out in his swing
Isaac is such a good big brother! He always wants to push Jared himself when he's in the swing.

When Isaac gives a hug he leans his head against you. Here he is giving his little brother a hug. So sweet!
Falling asleep....
And we're out! At this point Jared would only stay awake a few minutes at a time.

And you could say I could only stay awake a few minutes at a time as well! Here we are napping together. I'm enjoying these days while they last!
