Thirty-one Weeks

(Week 30 is on top, and Week 31 is below)

For real?? I'm in the 30's?? I can't believe we have 9 weeks to go. People ask me if I'm ready, and the answer to that is simple: NO WAY! I'm at the point in the pregnancy when I simply can't envision the process of having the baby. I heard someone say one time that God makes the 9th month miserable because otherwise, women would never want to go into labor. I'm at the point in the pregnancy when I finally feel great. Nesting has kicked in and I've been happily getting ready to move.

I went to the doctor last week (at 30 weeks) and measured 32 weeks along, which is good. They allow a 2 week spread for human error. The heartbeat sounded great and everything else looked good. Again, I have to say I'm shocked that I am at the point in the pregnancy when I go to the doctor every two weeks.

P.S. In other random news, I now have freckles on my face. Larry swears I've had them, but I know they are new. I received my proof when a good friend of mine asked me about them. She agreed with me that they were not there before. Pregnancy is so weird! (But awesome, too!)
