5 Months Old!

Isaac has been growing, growing, growing! He has changed so much physically and mentally from his first day of life. Here are some recent pictures:

Isaac is so curious about the world around him, especially his food!

Every day new discoveries are made, like when he looked up and realized a blue frog hangs above his head in the Jumperoo. He was so thrilled!

He has to touch everything with his hands first, then it goes straight into his mouth!

Some days are so full of fun times that the poor guy simply can't stay awake!
His new favorite toy is his Quack book. It makes crinkly noises and can be stuffed into his mouth!
Daddy and his Mini Me :)

We had to take a picture of it... his first real tear! He was NOT happy to be alone in the backseat and wouldn't stop crying until Larry moved to the back to keep him company!

Yes! This is a picture of Isaac sitting up, all by himself! He can sit alone for a few seconds and gets better every day!

Sometimes waking up is a slow process. But Mommy and Daddy are guaranteed a smile when he sees us!

(I gotta admit, there's nothing better!)

Other developments: You can now see two white spots on his lower gum line... the teeth have not poked through the skin yet, but they are trying! (Hence the hands constantly in the mouth and the permanent wet spots on his shirts)

Dear Isaac,
I am glad you are getting to eat some real food now! Isn't it great? Just a warning that when you get MORE teeth your mommy and daddy will feed you all kinds of stuff...some are good and some are NOT! If the food they are trying to feed you is GREEN or ORANGE I recommend that you throw it on the floor!!! That is what I do. My mommy gets so frustrated that she then gives me what I like...such as bananas!!!! Yum! Let me know if you need any more words of wisdom. I hope you see you soon.
Love, Brooke
