Feed me, Seymour, feed me!

At Isaac's four month check-up, we got the go ahead to start solids (which was a really good thing, since we had started the week before!) We started him with just a teaspoon of rice cereal in his bottle, then a teaspoon mixed with breastmilk on a spoon. He is getting better every day! Our doctor recommended 1 teaspoon of a new food for three days, twice a day. We have been giving him a little more than just a teaspoon, since he has been doing such a great job and he is such a big boy!
Here are some pictures. So far he has had rice cereal, carrots, peas, and pears.

He stared as we mixed the cereal and breastmilk together. He was so fascinated!

The next day he was more interested and liked putting the spoon in his mouth by himself

Carrots!

He makes the cutest faces when he is eating. He is getting more used to the textures and flavors. Even when he makes a weird face, he still opens his mouth wide for the next bite!

Our precious boy is getting to be so big! We are so proud of you, Isaac!

Thanks for the sequence of pictures. It's fun to see him go from "I'm not sure about this." to "Hey, this is pretty good!" Love you, Issac. Grandma
