Tidbits

Here are just a few things that Isaac has been up to lately... 

Isaac is a very active baby! He doesn't like to be hugged close to you unless he is very sleepy. He prefers to sit on your lap and look around, look at you and make funny faces, or jump on your legs. He cannot wait to get around on his own! The other day we laid him on his tummy and Larry got down on the floor a few feet from him on his own tummy. Isaac started kicking his legs and moving his arms. He wanted to crawl to his Daddy so badly! Larry moved toward him and Isaac smiled so big! 

 

Isaac is getting stronger and stronger every day. Larry has been doing an activity with him where Isaac lays on his back on Larry's lap. Larry holds his hands and pulls Isaac to a sitting position, then to a standing position. Isaac loves it! Now, when he is on your lap and you hold his hands, he lifts his head up as if to say, "Pull me up, pull me up!"

Isaac has been sleeping through the night, whoohoo! He goes to bed at 7pm and doesn't wake up again until 2 or 4 in the morning. Then he goes back to sleep until sometime between 7 and 9. Pretty soon, he should be sleeping 12 hours straight, but he's doing a great job for now!

He is such a happy baby right now. When you smile at him, he loves to smile back :) He used to only do that for his Daddy, but just in this last week he has started smiling at me a lot more and now he likes to smile when people talk to him. 

We just can't get enough of our little boy. Even though he fusses when I do it, I love to hold him close to me for just a quick hug :) He has been such a blessing to us and we have truly enjoyed every moment of watching him grow. Check out the next post for lots of cute pictures!
