Sick Baby

Isaac has a stomach bug that is going around and isn't feeling well. We took him to the doctor and, unfortunately, there isn't much to do but keep him hydrated. We gave him his first taste of Pedialite today. He furrowed his eyebrows to show he wasn't too sure about it, but he drank it. Keep him in your prayers that this doesn't last long. The doctor said the vomiting can last 2-3 days and the diahrrea can last up to 10 days. 

As a new mom, I was mentally prepared to be exhausted, broke, and home a lot more than usual. I was not, however, prepared for the emotions that go along with my baby being sick for the first time. When Larry and I decided that he would stay at home, I always thought that meant I wouldn't need to take off work when he got sick. Ha! I left work early yesterday and stayed home today to be with Isaac and help Larry out. It's so sad when a little one doesn't feel well, but it tears you up when it's YOUR little one!

With his tummy bothering him, he preferred to nap on his back. It's been so long since he's slept on his back. He's so cute!

Normally he's not a big fan of his pacifier. He's been taking it a lot more now that he is not feeling well. Here, he fell asleep in my arms holding onto my thumb. Words cannot describe!
