One Year Anniversary

What a year it has been! On May 27 Larry and I celebrated our one year anniversary. We went to dinner at South City Kitchen and had a great time. After dinner we weren't sure what to do, since I was still sick and he was exhausted from the move. So we went to Target and Larry showed off a jacket he liked. (I have to admit, he looks good!) 

Everything with the house is moving along well. It was very bittersweet to leave the apartment, since we did have such a great year there. But we love the house and are looking forward to Isaac joining us. My dad finished painting the nursery for us, but we haven't been able to do much else yet. Larry will be putting together some furniture this week and then it will really feel like Isaac's space. 

Speaking of Isaac (is there anything else??), the pregnancy is still going well. Of course, the energy rush I had in the seventh month is gone, gone, gone. Now the only comfortable position I can be in is sitting on the couch with my feet propped up on the coffee table. (Since school let out, the swelling in my feet has been MUCH better!) It's frustrating, since there is so much I need and want to do on the house and Isaac's room, but it will all get done. Just in little bits at a time. 

I had my 34 week check up last week and I am measuring 35 weeks. The doctor told me to remind them that "ridiculously large babies" run in my family when we get closer and they will talk about possibly inducing me early. Whoohoo! That was news I wanted to hear! I'm 35 weeks now and I have my next appointment next week. Then I start going to the doctor weekly. We're getting closer!!
